Groundhog Day

Another song about another girl. This one was originally called Resolution, as in a New Year's Resolution... but the... eventual downfall of our relationship happened more towards Groundhog Day. Bonus: it made for good lyrics in the third verse.

I should wait and post the mp3 tomorrow to kinda space things out. As it is, I only have about two and a half month's worth of material... but I'm all amped up about this right now, so you get both the lyrics and the original song structure. I'm not terribly happy with the recording... I was a bit sick when I sang it. I sound a little stuffy. But I get my point across. :-)

I learned early on, through myself, my friends, and songs on the radio... you shouldn't break the heart of a musician. You'll only end up in a song later. So with my humble apologies to the young woman this is about... and to all the subjects of the songs I post in the future... enjoy!
